Just-Clean Conveyor Scrapers

Primary Cleaning

Primary belt cleaners are used in conveyor systems for bulk material transportation and are the first stage of multi-level cleaning. They remove the main portion of material adhering to the belt, leaving only a thin layer of fine sticky particles.

These scrapers are installed on the front part of the drive drum, under the falling material's trajectory. They operate with low pressure on the belt, allowing the collected material to effectively return to the main flow, enhancing the safety and productivity of the conveyor system.

Primary cleaners are placed on the front part of the drum, slightly below the material movement trajectory.

Secondary Cleaning

Secondary belt cleaners are used in conveyors for handling bulk materials and are designed to remove residual fine particles (carryback) that remain on the belt after the primary cleaner installed on the drive drum. They are placed close enough to the drum so that the collected particles can return to the main material flow, thereby improving the safety and efficiency of the conveyor system.

For complete cleaning, additional secondary scrapers can be installed.

Secondary scrapers are installed at the point where the belt leaves the discharge drum.

Plough Cleaners

Plough cleaners are intended for use in conveyor systems for bulk material transportation to remove material carried on the return side of the belt before it reaches pinch points.

If material is carried back on the return side, it can lead to premature wear of drum coatings, misalignment of the belt, or even tearing or damage to its layers due to pieces of material getting around the drums. Plough cleaners are usually placed immediately before tail or turn drums, requiring a flat belt surface for proper operation to achieve optimal results. It is not recommended to install plough cleaners directly above return rollers to avoid uneven blade wear, which could reduce the cleaning efficiency of the plough cleaner.

Plough cleaners are typically installed just before the drums of the conveyor belt to remove material from the return side.
